NVIDIA is telling you it’s ok to be greedy with this week’s GeForce NOW lineup of games, which includes GreedFall II: The Dying World. If you never played the original, you might want to go back and do that, because you’re in for a treat. It’ll also help set up the sequel. GreedFall II is one of seven new games being added to the service this week, and all seven are available to stream as of today. However, some of the games were officially released a couple of days ago.
The cool thing about the new games being added today is that all of them are new releases. So these are fresh titles that everyone is going to be jumping into for the first time. There’s something exciting about knowing that everyone is experiencing a new game simultaneously. In addition to GreedFall II, GeForce NOW subscribers can also stream Witchfire, Tiny Glade, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, Breachway, Mechabellum, and Monopoly.
As an added bonus for all GeForce NOW members, there’s an update going out today too. NVIDIA says that subscribers should update their apps and make sure they’re on version 2.0.67. This update includes even more support for users who have Windows laptops powered by ARM chips. For those subscribers, the update adds streaming at up to 4K and at up to 120 frames per second.
GreedFall II comes to GeForce NOW via Steam
GreeFall II: The Dying World was released on Steam on September 24. So it’s been out for a couple of days at this point. If you’ve been playing or planning to play this new title, now you can do so without having to install it. Or on the go if you want to continue playing after you leave the house.
GreedFall II takes place three years after the story events of the first game. So I’d definitely recommend going back to play the first one if you haven’t. That being said, it’s not absolutely necessary, especially if you don’t care that much about continuity. Plus, you could always watch video recaps.
Guild Wars II players have a new bonus reward to claim
If you subscribe to GeForce NOW and also play Guild Wars II, you have a new reward available in the members reward section. The reward is a style pack that includes a few different things for your character. Specifically, items that allow you to “change your characters’ hairstyle, horns and facial hair, as well as customize armor and tailor a wardrobe for epic quests.” While the reward is available to all rewards members, you have to be quick. You’ll need to claim it by October 26 if you want it. NVIDIA also says these are on a first-come, first-served basis. So it is possible for the rewards to run out.
