PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is warning drivers of high water on some roads in western Kentucky.
Heavy, widespread rainfall overnight Saturday caused flooding in some places. If you see high water, KYTC says turn around, don’t drown.
Here is a list of roads currently impacted by high water:
Carlisle County
U.S. 62 is closed with high water between the 3 and 4 mile markers near the West Fork Creek Bottoms.
Fulton County
KY 94 (Lower Bottoms) is open with high water between the 9.1 mile marker (Parker Lane) to the 10.9 mile marker (1099 Bypass).
Hickman County
KY 123 is closed with high water between the 14 and 16 mile markers in the Hailwell Corner area.
Lyon County
KY 1943 is open with high water between the 3 and 4 mile markers near Skinframe Creek Bridge.
Marshall County
KY 1462/Benton-Birmingham Road is closed with high water at the 1.3 mile marker. This is near the intersection of KY 1477/Benton Briensburg Road.
