Lenovo can't seem to keep the Legion Tab in stock

Lenovo Legion Tab stock seems to be moving rather quickly, as the company can’t seem to keep any on hand for more than a couple of days. Lenovo officially announced the Legion Tab during CES at the beginning of January. At that time, it also opened up pre-orders for the tablet and reportedly sold out of all stock within 48 hours.

Now it appears that the same thing has happened yet again. Lenovo restocked the Legion Tab earlier this week and it once again sold out within a matter of days. That being said since the time it was reported out of stock, Lenovo does seem to have more units available, but there is a note that states the tablet is “almost sold out, act now.” So it probably won’t be long before it’s out of stock again.

It’s not selling out quite as fast as NVIDIA’s RTX 50-series GPUs. However, it’s still selling out quickly. That could be due to the fact that there aren’t many options out there for smaller Android tablets with this kind of performance. Let alone a tablet that’s geared toward mobile gaming.

For the most part, you have Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S and Galaxy Tab A series when it comes to Android tablets, but not much else of note. So when Lenovo launched the Legion Tab, a tablet with an 8.8-inch display and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 inside, consumers apparently jumped at the chance to get one.

Lenovo Legion Tab Stock

Lenovo may not have had much initial stock of the Legion Tab

It’s reasonable to assume that Lenovo may have launched the Legion Tab with a lower amount of stock to begin with. Perhaps to avoid manufacturing a large number of units and ending up with stock that goes unsold. This is purely speculation but it would make sense as to why the tablets are selling out so fast. It’s also possible that Lenovo will be restocking the tablet frequently, especially after seeing how well it’s been doing.

In addition to an 8.8-inch screen and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the Legion Tab also comes with 12GB of RAM and several specialized gaming features. So it’s a good option for those looking for a powerful tablet that isn’t huge. That there is the key. There aren’t really any other options for a powerful Android tablet of this size. Which seems to be a contributing factor to its quick out-of-stock status.

Lenovo is the only place you can buy one

It’s worth noting that the Legion Tab can seemingly only be purchased from Lenovo directly. At least in the US, and at least for now. Searches for the product on Amazon and Best Buy yielded no results. That means when it’s out of stock it’s not just out of stock through Lenovo, it’s out of stock entirely. For now, at least, there’s a little bit more to go around for consumers who want this device. Probably not for long, however.
