LAS VEGAS — LG Innotek unveiled a range of advanced sensing and lighting technologies for vehicles at the CES 2025 consumer electronics trade show, Monday (local time), attracting global carmakers working on future mobility solutions.
The electronic parts maker set up its booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s West Hall, positioned next to global carmakers. This year, LG Innotek is focusing on showcasing its cameras, sensors and other auto parts for autonomous driving.
Highlighting the booth is the In-Cabin Camera Module, making its debut at CES 2025. Equipped with a 5-megapixel RGB-IR (red, green, blue-infrared) sensor, this high-resolution module can detect the driver’s condition in real time to prevent drowsy driving.
With a single compact camera, it can also monitor whether passengers in the front and rear seats are wearing seat belts, enhancing both safety and design flexibility by maximizing space efficiency for carmakers.
The company also unveiled its All-Weather Camera Solution, designed to function as a side mirror for future vehicles. This advanced solution integrates built-in heating and cleaning systems to prevent freezing or obstruction from dirt, ensuring clear visibility in all weather.
For vehicle lighting solutions, LG Innotek is showcasing the Nexlide Vision lighting module, which combines traditional pixel lighting with smart film technology. Through this combination, the module can display not only pixel-based text but also images made up of surface and line designs.
Additionally at the booth, LG Innotek is exhibiting Battery Link, the world’s first solution that combines a wireless battery management system and a battery junction box, dramatically improving space efficiency and stability by fundamentally preventing failures between connectors.
“We expect that we can explore new clients and business opportunities at CES 2025,” LG Innotek CEO Moon Hyuk-soo said.
“We will continue consolidating our position as a total solution provider for future mobility.”
