Lowe’s lets you use Apple’s Vision Pro to choose a new kitchen – Apple Must

Yet another interesting new enterprise business case for Apple’s Vision Pro systems, this time from Lowes stores which is using them to let customers explore how different kitchen designs will appear, and – virtually at least – what they will feel like when used in their homes.

The way this seems to work is that customers turn up at any of the five US Lowe’s stores trialling the system from March 15, choose a few kitchen designs and get to explore them in spatial reality using the expensive Apple goggles.

The experience is made available via the Lowe’s Style Studio for Apple Vision Pro, with sets of the devices in place across five stores in Texas, following testing in stores last year.

Lowe’s Style Studio is available today in the App Store for Apple Vision Pro,

What happens when you use these things?

During each 45-minute consultation session a sales associate will help customers choose between a huge range of kitchen options. Spatial computing seamlessly blends digital content in the physical space, enabling users to interact in stunning resolution, using intuitive input controlled by a user’s eyes and hands.

Anyone joining the session, including friends, family, and decorators can follow along on an iPad that mirrors the 3D experience, helping people work together on the final design.

All the data is stored which means when it comes to purchase the bits and pieces a customer needs to put the design in place the list is all right there in the system. Sessions are free and available by appointment or walk-in.

This is yet another example of Lowe’s leading the industry in solving problems and fulfilling dreams for the home.”
