As February draws to a close, local car washes in Malta have experienced a significant increase in business this winter.
Residents have been flocking to car washes to remove salt and dirt accumulated from the active weather this season.
Buster’s Car Wash in Malta reported a high volume of traffic, with business booming more than ever since they began operations. Mackenna Lansing from Buster’s Car Wash said,
Yes, so in the month of January 2025, we washed 15,000 more cars than we expected and we have experienced a 51% increase in membership sign ups as well. Usually the winter is very busy, but this winter has been exceptionally busy.
As spring approaches, car washes anticipate continued high demand, with pollen season expected to keep customers coming in to wash off pollen buildup.
