Man Attacks Car With Ax During Road Rage Exchange

Man Attacks Car With Ax During Road Rage Exchange

Some women in Memphis, Tennessee recorded a road rage exchange where one driver started attacking the other car using an ax of all things. That footage has gone viral, with news stations all over the country pickup up the story. It’s understandable why because we usually don’t see ax attacks during a road rage fight.

Mercedes has been using AI to design cars.

According to reports, the driver of the Nissan Xterra crashed into the back of a 2012 Chevy Impala. What preceded that, if anything, isn’t known. But that’s when the guy got out of the car with his ax and approached the SUV.

You can see in the cellphone video the man takes a few swings at the Xterra before he turns around and walks away. The guy reportedly fled the scene on foot and police are looking for him.

It’s unclear if police know who the man is. We would assume he’s the registered owner of the Impala, but with how rampant car theft is in Memphis, that’s quite the assumption.

During the attack, the woman openly wonder why the other driver doesn’t just take off. Maybe the Nissan was disabled from the crash? Or the person might have been in shock? We don’t know, but it does seem odd.

Thankfully, nobody was reportedly hurt in the crash or the ax attack. We’ve seem people get seriously hurt when axes or knives are produced during a road rage fight.

It’s possible there was an exchange on the road before the crash and ax attack. This is why we counsel people to steer clear of getting into verbal exchanges with other drivers since things can escalate into full violence.

If someone does try to draw you into a road rage fight, definitely don’t get out of your vehicle. Drive away, if you can, and get to a police station or somewhere with plenty of witnesses and cameras. And definitely leave the ax in the back of your car alone.
