ITHACA (WBNG) –A man was arrested on 20 active warrants after he was spotted at the Apple Harvest Festival in Ithaca Friday afternoon.
Around 1:30 p.m. Ithaca Police Officers working at the festival recognized Jessiah Jones, 39, for having outstanding warrants.
When officers approached and told Jones there were warrants for his arrest he was non-compliant and when officers attempted to arrest Jones he allegedly resisted, according to Ithaca Police.
Jones was arrested and charged with criminal mischief, resisting arrest and an open container violation.
He was also arrested on 13 warrants of trespassing, five petit larceny warrants, one criminal possession of a controlled substance and harassment.
Jones is awaiting arraignment at Ithaca City Court.
