A MONSTROUS motorhome made from military-grade carbon fibre is the ultimate home away from home.

Drivers can now camp anywhere, even in the most extreme terrain, with the wildly impressive EarthRoamer SX – but you’d have to cough up over £800,000 to buy one.

Packed full of innovative tech and luxury amenities, and with enough power and brute force to take on the world’s most challenging roads and trails, the SX is perfect for the great outdoors.

Over 10 metres long with 375-litre diesel tanks, and 30 cm of ground clearance, the SX – which is four-wheel-drive, naturally – really is built for anything.

The motorhome itself uses a medium-duty Chevy Silverado as a base, which means it gets a 6.6-litre L5P Duramax diesel engine that makes 350 horsepower and can hit a top speed of 82 mph.

But that’s where the similarities with the Chevy end, as the SX is made out of super-strong, military-grade carbon fibre – the kind that can, theoretically, be dropped out of the back of a military plane.

Impressive features include adventure-ready winches and giant Good Year tyres, while on the back of the camper is a selection of outdoor amenities, including a shower and gear garage – perfect for bikes, skis and snowboards – while a full outdoor kitchen comes with a Traeger smoker and a Blackstone grill.

But it’s the interior that’s the most dazzling, with every single SX custom-built for the person buying it.

Generally, passengers inside can expect either a California King bed or up to four bunk beds, and a full kitchen uniquely designed to handle off-road adventures.

That’s because the bespoke silverware, plates, bowls and glassware are stowed inside custom-built cabinets, allowing nothing to move around while in transit.

The loft bedroom above the cab features a total of five windows – including a skylight, perfect for stargazing – and a small TV for when the sky is overcast.

The dining room features a spacious table that can seat up to six people, along with another, larger TV, while the camper’s Starlink WiFi allows the area to double up as an incredible work-from-home office space.

Extra luxuries can be found on every turn, such as an instant hot water dispenser, espresso machine, and even a washer and dryer combo built in.

There’s even a bathroom akin to a five-star hotel, featuring a full-length mirror, toilet, sink, and a rain shower.

Unlike most other campers, the SX has been perfectly winterised – meaning adventurers don’t have to worry about the large water tank freezing up or the battery dying.

In fact, it’s completely self-sufficient – capable of powering itself using either an alternator or the solar panels on the roof.

It doesn’t come cheap, of course; the deposit alone is an eye-watering £95,000, which gives wealthy drivers a place in the queue and a build date for their colossal camper.

The eventual price is at least £770k – although the most well-equipped EarthRoamer SX will cost between £815k and £850k.

A typical waiting list is between seven and 10 months.

EarthRoamer, who are based in Colorado, US, say it’s possible to have an SX delivered to the UK, although customers are responsible for arranging the shipping.

This comes as Brabus, a tuning company known for their long-running association with Mercedes, have unveiled their incredible new motorhome.

Boasting a full kitchen, luxury living room, and even heated flooring, the Big Boy 1200, as it’s called, will cost a staggering £1million.

Elsewhere, an incredible supercar that’s one of just 10 ever made is to be sold by a mysterious car collector.

The rare motor’s current owner says he has “too many cars”, and is keen to let someone else enjoy it.
