Motorola Razr 60 Ultra design leaked, shown from all sides

Motorola is gearing up to launch its latest foldable smartphone, the Motorola Razr 60 series. We’ve seen a number of leaks and encountered a bunch of rumors in the past. Now thanks to a post by Sudhanshu Ambhore on X, new renders of the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra have surfaced, giving us a look at the design of the phone.

For the most part, based on what we’ve seen so far, the Razr 60 Ultra won’t look too different from its predecessor. This isn’t a bad thing. The Razr 50 series had a pretty good and functional design, so Motorola sticking to it is good. However, what these new renders show are the Razr 60 in both its folded and unfolded state. It also shows us what the phone looks like from the sides.

The renders don’t really tell us anything new, or at least nothing we’ve already seen. However, it’s still nice to get some confirmation as well as additional angles so we have a better idea of what to expect. Unlike other smartphone makers who are embracing sharper corners and flatter edges, Motorola is keeping the slightly curved look.

What we know so far

The Motorola Razr 60 series is the company’s latest lineup of foldable phones for 2025. So far, based on the rumors and leaks, the base Razr 60 model will use the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset. As for the Ultra model, recent benchmarks have suggested a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. However, it is unclear if it will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite or the Snapdragon 8s Elite.

The foldable display and the cover display will remain the same along with the design. However, we have heard that it could feature improved durability with an IP48 rating, versus the IPX8 rating on last year’s models. Lastly, the battery could see an improvement as well. The Razr 60 is rumored to go from a 4,200mAh battery to a 4,500mAh battery over its predecessor. We also heard that it could support faster wired charging.

We still don’t have a release date for the Razr 60 models yet. But with all these leaks, it feels like an announcement is close at hand. The Razr 50 models were announced in June last year, so we expect the Razr 60 should follow a similar timeframe.
