Motorola is nearing the announcement for its upcoming lineup of phones for 2025, one of which is set to be the Edge 60 Pro, and a new set of leaked images showcases the design from all angles.
The newly leaked images show that Motorola also appears to have put an extra button on the Edge 60 Pro. This is perhaps the most intriguing part of the leak. If you compare these images to the design of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, you can see that the older model only has three buttons. The volume up and down buttons, and one for powering the phone on and off, which sits right below those.
With this year’s model, however, there’s a fourth mystery button that can be seen on the left side. It’s not immediately clear what this button will be used for. However, it’s suggested that it could be for controlling the camera. If it is for the camera, though, it would completely make sense. As it would give users an extremely easy way to snap pictures.
Motorola could set it up to be a shutter button. For example, once the camera app was launched, this button could be used to take the picture. It’s also entirely possible this button does something else. It could also be used for several things, like something multi-functional.
Motorola Edge 60 Pro images showcase the phone’s new green color
It’s not clear what the name of the color will be, but it’s clearly some shade of green. It looks almost like a Sage Green or Hazel Green to us, but those names are merely speculation. With the phone being shown from all sides, you can also see that Motorola is using the same color for the frame as it is for the back of the device. This isn’t uncommon, of course. However, some phones do come with a different-colored frame. So, it’s nice to see Motorola sticking with one color here.
It also appears like this is going to be another one of Motorola’s devices that comes with a textured back. It seems to be some kind of faux leather material. If that ends up being the case, then it should have some nice grip. As well as a nice feel in the hand.
The phone will come in blue and purple as well
In addition to the green color shown in these images, the leak also mentions that the phone will come in blue and purple variants. It’s also stated that one of the phone’s rear camera sensors will be a Sony Lytia sensor with optical image stabilization. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about the Motorola Edge 60 Pro. Back in February, it was discovered that the phone had received FCC certification. Earlier this month, the pricing for the European market was leaked, suggesting the Edge 60 Pro will cost €600.
