My husband’s £70,000 muscle car was stolen from an airport car park but watch me get it back MYSELF using a GPS tracker

A MOTORIST has shown how they used a GPS tracker to find their car after it was stolen.

In the video uploaded to TikTok by user Kimberly Cohn (@oreodogmom) a bright purple Dodge Challenger Hellcat muscle car worth around £70,000 is tracked down.

The video was shot last year using a smartphone and the caption on the video as it starts reads: ‘Husband’s car was stolen from Hobby Airport 1 month ago.’

It then goes on to say: ‘Tracked it down with GPS once reactivated.’

The video starts with the TikTok user and her husband in a car following the GPS signal along an urban street in Texas.

After a while, the husband says: “There it is!”

His wife gasps and says: “There’s your car!”

A purple Dodge Challenger comes into view, casually parked up outside a row of shops.

As they get closer the couple realise the car has damage on it after being involved in some sort of incident.

The wife says: “uh oh, there’s a huge dent in it.”

The husband replies; “Walk around it and go take a picture of everything.”

The wife then walks with the camera around the car, which shows a huge gouge along the driver’s door and part of its body.

Aside from some stone chips to the paint and some minor damage to the alloy wheels the rest of the car looks to be in good shape.

Nevertheless, sorting the dent in the door and body will run to £1,000s on a car like this.
