New Apple Invites 1.1 update now available on App Store – 9to5Mac

Apple has just shipped version 1.1 of the Apple Invites app, which first debuted nearly two months ago. Here are the details.

Latest Apple Invites update coincides with iOS 18.4’s launch

Apple Invites has received a couple of minor bug fix updates since its launch in early February.

But today, the first more noteworthy release—at least in terms of version number—is here.

Apple Invites 1.1 is now available on the App Store.

Unfortunately, the release notes don’t stir much excitement:

This update contains stability and performance enhancements.

Those are the exact words Apple used for its last two Invites app updates.

Only in those cases, the version numbers were 1.0.1 and 1.0.2.

It’s common for Apple and third-party developers to use this 0.X number scheme for updates that are especially minor.

But for a release like version 1.1, and considering the timing of its arrival right after iOS 18.4, it’s natural to expect more from this update.

Currently though, after some brief hands-on with version 1.1, I’ve had a hard time finding even a single visible change.

Perhaps Apple has some over-the-air changes on the way, and shipping 1.1 in the App Store was a precursor to what’s actually coming soon. That’s what I’m hoping at least.
