We’re only a month away from seeing the Galaxy S25 series, and we pretty much know what to expect. However, no one can argue with a few leaks in the 11th hour. Some new leaked images just popped up, and they show the Galaxy S25+ in the flesh.
At this point, we don’t know when Samsung will officially announce its newest phones. The company has pushed its launch dates earlier and earlier each year. To put this into perspective, Samsung announced the Galaxy S6 in March. Now, rumors point to the company announcing the Galaxy S25 series in January; in early January!
Along with the announcement date, the processors and other specs are also in the air. So, will either need to wait until the event or hold out for a massive leak just days before the event. Heck, that happened with the Pixel 9 series.
New leaked Galaxy S25+ images show the device in the flesh
At this point, we pretty much know what this phone will look like. Not only because we exclusively leaked this phone, but Samsung recycled the same design since the Galaxy S23. Be that as it may, we just got a new set of leaked images showing us what the Galaxy S25+ will look like.
Jukanlosreve originally posted these images on X.com, but they’ve since taken down the post. However, we have them courtesy of Phone Arena.
To be completely honest, there’s nothing spectacular about these images. This should come as no surprise, as it looks like Samsung won’t make any notable changes to the base Galaxy phones’ design… again. In the image below, we see that the phone will be on the thicker side.
The bezels are notably thin, though they’re not the thinnest we’ve seen. Also, we see the camera package on the back. The rings around the cameras are slightly different from the Galaxy S24.
But wait, there’s something new (but derivative?)
So, it looks like another boring here on Galaxy Island, but it looks like Samsung will rock the boat just a bit. In the first image above, we see an additional feature under the power button. It looks like a pill-shaped recess.
We don’t know what it’ll be used for, but we do have a hunch. Its placement makes us think that it’ll be a rip-off of Apple’s camera control button. Apple introduced that with the iPhone 16 series, and it’s been the center of conversation. If that’s true, then it’ll pretty much confirm that Samsung is directly copying Apple. We’ll just have to wait and see.
