OnePlus has launched the OnePlus Pad in China during the Ace 5 series launch event. The new tablet is basically a rebranded Oppo Pad 3 which launched just a month ago. Both devices have the same core specs, a powerful chip, and a great display.
It is noteworthy that OnePlus already has a OnePlus Pad in the global market that was launched last year. However, the new OnePlus Pad has different specifications and appears to be China-exclusive.
Here are the features of the new OnePlus Pad
The OnePlus Pad has an 11.61-inch IPS LCD screen with a 2.8K resolution, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 700 nits peak brightness. The screen also has a 144Hz refresh rate making it perfect for watching high-quality videos and fast-paced games.
The tablet is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 chipset which provides fast performance and smooth multitasking. You can choose from different configurations up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, so you have plenty of space for apps, games, and media.
OnePlus has equipped the Pad with a 9,520mAh battery. It also supports 67W fast charging so you can quickly top up your tablet and get back to using it without any delay.
The OnePlus Pad has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls and an 8-megapixel rear camera for taking photos and videos. It runs on ColorOS 15 which is based on Android 15. It measures 257.75 x 189.11 x 6.29mm and weighs just 533g making it slim and lightweight.
OnePlus Pad pricing and availability
The new OnePlus Pad is available in China starting at CNY 2,099 (~$288) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. However, OnePlus is offering a special discount which brings the price down to CNY 1,999 (~$274). There are other models with more memory too. For example, the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version costs CNY 2,399 (~$329), while the top model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage costs CNY 3,099 (~$425).
Currently, the OnePlus Pad is only available in China. It seems the tablet will offer a great experience at an affordable price, so it’s a strong competitor in the budget tablet market. With the new MediaTek chip, a big display, and long battery life the OnePlus Pad is going to be a popular choice for many people.
