New Samsung Feature Will Let You Summarize Any Web Video with AI

Samsung is planning to bring AI video summaries to its Galaxy devices via the One UI 8 update. Well, at least according to a new report by SammyGuru.

Samsung is looking to offer AI video summaries for Galaxy users with One UI 8 update

The report basically claims that this new AI tool will debut with One UI 8. It will allow you to use AI in order to summarize videos by processing speed, video, and captions. Multi-modal AI model will do its thing, and the end result will be a summarized video for you to check out.

This is not a groundbreaking feature, as some third-party browsers already offer it. YouTube is one of the services that offers something like this too. Still, Samsung users will appreciate a feature like this being available within the Galaxy AI features suite.

This feature will allegedly work for videos on any website, so you won’t be limited in its use. One UI 8 is also tipped to bring a redesigned UI for a number of Samsung apps, but it won’t exactly be a huge revamp or anything like that.

One UI 7 is now rolling out to quite a few devices

One UI 7 arrived with the Galaxy S25 series earlier this month and started rolling out to other Galaxy devices earlier this month. One UI 7 represents a rather notable change for Samsung’s Android skin, so One UI 8 will be more of a refinement.

One UI 7 changed up the UI, while it also improved animations. It brought over new Galaxy AI features and much more. Samsung’s release schedule for One UI 7 was rather weird, as the UI was quite late to the party. It’s here now, and users on quite a few devices can enjoy it while we wait for One UI 8.

Samsung’s One UI 7 skin is now rolling out to the Galaxy S24, S23, S22, Fold 6, Flip 6, Fold 5, Flip 7, and more. Even some tablets have received the update by now, worldwide.
