New Transportation Secretary Rolls Back CAFE Efficiency Regulations for Cars – NTD


In his first day on the job, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy rolled back corporate average fuel economy (CAFE) standards that require new cars sold in the United States to achieve 50 miles per gallon. Duffy says the regulation made new cars nearly $10,000 more expensive.
