Nomad Adds Luxurious Olde Dublin Finish to its iPhone 16 Pro Case Lineup

Today, Nomad has announced another finish for its popular Modern Leather Folio and Modern Leather Case for the iPhone 16 Pro models. This is the new Olde Dublin, which is a rich, vegetable-tanned leather that really stands out.

Olde Dublin leather is a type of vegetable-tanned leather renowned for its rich pull-up effect, durability, and rugged character. It’s made by Horween Leather Company, a renowned tannery in Chicago, using their century-old Cordovan vegetable tanning formulas.

This is part of their Horween Leather collection and will cost the same as their other Horween cases. That’s $70 for the Modern Leather Case and $90 for the Modern Leather Folio. Unfortunately, it is only available for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, the regular and Plus models do not get this new Leather option.

Olde Dublin joins Nomad’s strong Horween Leather Offerings

I don’t have the case in-hand, however the Olde Dublin option looks to have more reddish undertones compared to the regular Rustic Brown Leather case that is very popular from Nomad. It’s not lighter than like the English Tan color, but more on the vibrant side.

Like the rest of the Horween cases for iPhone 16 series, this is not wrap-around leather. So this is using Nomad’s old style of having the leather back, with a plastic frame. There’s a cutout for Camera Control, and actual buttons for the power, action and volume. The Action and Power buttons are actually rigid, making it easier to feel which is which, in your pocket.

In addition to this new Olde Dublin color, there is also the usual Rustic Brown and Black, as well as a limited edition of Green Chrome.

This year, Nomad focused on improving MagSafe with stronger magnets. Keep in mind that leather cases are generally thicker, so magnets aren’t as strong as a result. So this was definitely needed, and it’s good to see this from Nomad.

You can purchase the new Olde Dublin Horween Leather cases from Nomad today.
