Official OnePlus 13 camera samples are here, ahead of launch

OnePlus has recently confirmed the launch date of its upcoming flagship and even unboxed it. The device in question is the OnePlus 13, of course, and the phone’s camera samples have just been shared too.

OnePlus just shared some official OnePlus 13 camera samples

The company shared these camera samples via Weibo, a Chinese social media network. The OnePlus 13 will launch on October 31 in China, so it makes sense. The global launch will follow later on.

The first batch of images, included in the gallery below, is supposed to show off the phone’s ability to capture fast-moving subjects. The shutter speed has seemingly been improved, and so did image processing.

The company says the phone can handle dynamic scenarios and capture moments as fast as 1/10,000 of a second qithout motion blur. This should make it possible to capture your pets in motion, as well as various sports without a problem.

The images that OnePlus shared do look impressive, but we’ll save our judgment for a full review. Also, do note that the images in the gallery above have been compressed. In order to check out full-res samples, click here.

Some ‘Hasselblad Master Images’ have also been posted for our viewing pleasure

In addition to highlighting fast shutter speed, OnePlus also highlighted ‘Hasselblad Master Images’. That’s a mode that was available before too, but it has been improved, it seems. Some samples are below.

OnePlus says that you’ll get natural skin tones and textures, and balances light and shadow in portrait shots. Here are the full-res shots.

Do note that OnePlus also confirmed that it’s sticking with the same main camera as on the OnePlus 12, the Sony LYT-808. That’s a very capable sensor, and it’ll be even better utilized this time around, it seems. A 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera will also be included.
