One dead in car vs. semi-truck crash – WSAW


ADAMS CO., Wis. (WSAW) – A traffic collision involving a car and a semi-truck on State Highway 23 and County Highway B resulted in the death of a 34-year-old Grand Marsh man, Glenn Tosh, early Friday morning.

At approximately 6:13 a.m. on October 25, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a 911 call reporting the crash. Emergency responders arrived to provide aid to Tosh, only person in the car, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi-truck, who was also the only occupant, suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

Initial investigations indicated that Tosh’s vehicle was traveling southbound on County Highway B when it failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with the eastbound semi-truck on State Highway 23.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is conducting the investigation with assistance from the Wisconsin State Patrol, Wisconsin Dells Police Department, Dells-Delton EMS, Kilbourn Fire Department, Adams County Medical Examiner, Adams County Highway Department, and Platt’s Towing. The Wisconsin State Patrol’s Technical Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene to conduct a thorough reconstruction of the accident.

No further information is available at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
