One million UK broadband users get 24-hour countdown to claim ultimate upgrade

However, one deal that has definitely caught our eye comes from the team at Community Fibre. This popular supplier is currently offering ludicrously fast 3Gbps speeds for just £39 per month – that’s a saving of £17 off the usual price.

It’s a very tough deal to beat, as no other major UK ISP can offer this hyper-fast connection. Virgin currently only has 1Gbps available to purchase, and BT’s Openreach platform can’t push beyond 1.6Gbps just yet.

As a quick guide, BT currently charges £38.99 for 900Mbps speeds – Virgin charges £36.99 for 1,160Mbps downloads.

Community Fibre also promises that set-up is free and that prices will not go up until April 2026, when they will increase by a guaranteed £2 per month.

With 3Gbps broadband beamed into homes, users can download full HD movies in around 10 seconds which is over 30 times faster than the UK average.

YOU CAN SEE THE DEAL HERE

For those wanting blisteringly quick broadband, it’s a tough deal to match, but there are some things to note.

Firstly, Community Fibre is only available in certain areas of London, so you’ll need to check your postcode to see if you can access the connection.

The deal will also end tomorrow, April 1, so you must act now or you will miss out.

Finally, it’s worth checking to see if you really need 3Gbps speeds. Those living on their own who simply stream the odd show on Netflix, browse the web and send some daily emails clearly don’t need that rapid access with 50-100Mbps OK for low data users.

Only homes with lots of connected devices that want to stream in 4K, download huge console titles and spend hours working from the spare room
