Samsung is all set to launch the One UI 7.0 update alongside the Galaxy S25 series flagships on January 22. Soon after, it expects to begin rolling out a stable software update to older devices. Samsung took its time to polish the One UI 7.0 software experience, given the company delayed its rollout many times. A beta version of One UI 7.0 has already been available for a few weeks now. We’ve already seen several new features of the latest One UI. Now, a setup video of One UI 7.0 has surfaced, which shows the new user interface’s Welcome Screen.
One UI 7.0 will offer much better animations than the previous versions
Folks over at SamMobile have posted a video of the One UI 7.0 setup wizard. You will experience this when you switch on and set up a new device or when your device reboots after installing the One UI 7.0 update. In the video, you can see that One UI 7.0 will offer buttery smooth animations on the “Welcome Screen”. It shows a colorful medley of animations while setting up a new device.
Furthermore, One UI 7.0 has also deployed smooth animations to help users understand the new changes made to the notifications and quick settings panel. The One UI 7.0 setup video also provides an overview of everything new in the latest version of One UI.
The stable One UI 7.0 update is on the way, but you can try its Beta version now
As mentioned above, Samsung will show us the final version of the One UI 7.0 update alongside the Galaxy S25 series on January 22. Everyone should enjoy the new experience soon after. In the meantime, the company rolled out a new version of the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 Beta update.
If you have a Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+, or S24 Ultra, you can test the third One UI 7.0 Beta version. Those already enrolled in the Beta Program can update their devices to get the latest One UI version.
