OnePlus 12 getting OxygenOS 15 stable in multiple regions

Android 15 stable has been available for Pixel phones since mid-October. Now, it’s the turn of other major Android brands to roll out the update. Usually, the latest flagship phones from companies are the first to receive the new firmware. That’s what’s happening now with the OnePlus 12, whose Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 update is already available in multiple regions.

The OnePlus 12 is the company’s current most premium smartphone. Leaks about its successor, the OnePlus 13, suggest that it will be an even more impressive device. The OnePlus 12 aimed to a price segment that positions it as a flagship, but below models that reach (or exceed) $1,000. It had a launch price of $799 in the US compared to the $999 of the Pixel 8 Pro, for example.

OxygenOS 15 update now available for the OnePlus 12

Being the brand’s current flagship phone, it enjoys special treatment when it comes to updates. In line with this, OnePlus is already rolling out the OxygenOS 15 stable update in the IN/NA/EU/GLO regions. The forum post indicates that the rollout is occurring in batches. This means that not everyone will receive it at the same time. Therefore, you may need to wait a few days, even if you reside in one of the specified regions.

The update has build numbers CPH2573_15.0.0.206(EX01) for IN region, CPH2583_15.0.0.205(EX01) for NA region, and CPH2581_15.0.0.204(EX01) for EU/GLO region.

One of the major improvements in OxygenOS 15 is the implementation of AI-powered features. However, the post warns that “they are still being tested and will be gradually integrated.” So, many (or none) of them may not be available after installing the update. The list includes image editing features like AI Detail Boost, AI Reflection Eraser, and AI Unblur. You’ll also find AI-recommended replies and AI Notes, among others.

The company also revamped the animation engine to make the scrolling and navigation experience more fluid. Other aesthetic additions include new visual effects, redesigned icons, and more. You can check out the full changelog here.
