The OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R are coming to global markets, and their launch date has been revealed. The information comes from a tipster who shared a seemingly official-looking poster confirming the launch date.

The OnePlus 13 series global launch date has been revealed

If you take a look at the image below, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. The OnePlus 13 series is coming on January 7, as OnePlus is referring to this event as the ‘Winter Launch Event’.

OnePlus 13 series global launch date

The event will start at 4:30 PM CET / 3:30 PM BST / 10:30 AM EST / 7:30 AM PST / 9:00 PM IST, just in case you’re interested in tuning in, as it seems like the event will be livestreamed. We still don’t have the link for it, though, as OnePlus still hasn’t officially confirmed it.

The OnePlus 13 is not exactly a mystery at this point, not at all. The phone launched in China already, so we know exactly what to expect. The global variant may offer less RAM and will ship with OxygenOS instead of ColorOS, but the rest will be the same.

The OnePlus 13R did not launch anywhere just yet, not even in China

The OnePlus 13R, however, did not launch in China just yet. It’s coming with the OnePlus Ace 5 name, but it did not launch yet. Its specifications surfaced more than once, and we did get some conflicting information regarding that. Another image of the OnePlus 13R also surfaced, you can check it out below. That image also confirms the launch date, as you can see on its display.

In any case, the OnePlus 13 is the star of the show here. This handset will become OnePlus’ new flagship smartphone for 2025, globally. It is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and includes a large 6.82-inch 3168 x 1440 LTPO AMOLED display.

In China, it offers up to 24GB of RAM, but globally it will likely offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. UFS 4.0 flash storage will also be on offer, while the phone is IP68/IP69 certified.

Three 50-megapixel cameras sit on the back of this smartphone, and they’re backed by Hasselblad. A large 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery is also a part of the package. THe phone supports 100W wired (80W in the US), 50W wireless, 10W reverse wireless, and 5W reverse wired charging.
