OnePlus 13 wired & wireless charging speeds confirmed

OnePlus has just confirmed wired and wireless charging speeds for its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 13. In addition to that, the phone also surfaced on SIRIM certification with the OnePlus 13 name. OnePlus did confirm that name earlier, so this is not exactly a confirmation, but it’s worth noting.

The OnePlus 13’s wired and wireless charging speeds have been confirmed

With that being said, we also know that a 6,000mAh battery will be included. That battery got certified for the phone, and OnePlus reconfirmed it via Weibo. Along with it, OnePlus mentioned that 100W wired and 50W wireless charging will be on offer.

So, the phone will keep the charging speeds from its predecessor, the OnePlus 12. Do note that, in the US, you’ll be able to go as high as 80W in terms of charging, not above that. So you’ll get 80W wired and 50W wireless charging there.

What was not mentioned is reverse (wireless) charging. The OnePlus 12 offers 10W reverse wireless charging, so chances are that the OnePlus 13 will too. Wired and wireless charging speeds remain unchanged, so the same will likely be the case with reverse charging.

The device will launch on October 31

The OnePlus 13 will become official on October 31, so later this week. OnePlus confirmed as much not long ago, while also confirming the phone’s design and color options.

The OnePlus 13 will, in China, come in blue, black, and white colors, which will have special names. The global launch will occur later on, and we could see different color variants there.

Qualcomm’s brand new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor will fuel this smartphone, as expected. The design will be a bit different than last year, though maybe not at first glance. If you take a closer look, however, you’ll notice that the display is flat this time around, and so is the frame all around. That was not the case with the OnePlus 12.

Android 15 will come pre-installed here, with OxygenOS 15 on top of it. BOE’s new display will also be included, the BOE X2.
