The OnePlus 13R details have just been confirmed thanks to the launch of another smartphone. This smartphone was announced in China, and that device is expected to be almost the same as the OnePlus 13R.
The OnePlus Ace 5 has basically confirmed the OnePlus 13R details
OnePlus launched the OnePlus Ace 5’s predecessor globally as the OnePlus 12R. The same is expected to happen with this device too. The global variant will come with OxygenOS 15, not ColorOS 15, though. There could be some additional details, but chances are we won’t see many changes.
The OnePlus Ace 5 features a flat frame all around, while its display and backplate are also flat. There is a centered display camera hole on its display, as it’s centered up top. The bezels around the display are uniform, and quite thin.
A camera oreo is located in the top-left corner of the phone’s backplate. The alert slider sits on the left side, while the phone’s regular physical buttons are placed on the right.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is included with up to 16GB of RAM
The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and includes either 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, depending on the variant you choose. Three different storage models are available, they’re all using UFS 4.0.
There is a 6.78-inch 2780 x 1264 LTPO AMOLED display included here. That display offers up to 4,500 nits of brightness. Android 15 comes pre-installed on the phone, with ColorOS 15.
There are two SIM card slots here, both are nano SIM slots. A 6,415mAh battery its on the inside of this smartphone. The device supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, and no wireless charging.
The phone also has an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IR blaster too. It is IP65 certified for water and dust resistance, while stereo speakers are also a part of the package.
There are three cameras included on the back, and one on the front
A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX906 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, OIS) is backed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera (120-degree FoV, Sony’s IMX355 sensor, f/2.2 aperture). The third camera on the back is a 2-megapixel macro unit (OmniVision OV02B sensor, f/2.0 aperture). There is a 16-megapixel snapper on the front.
This phone measures 161.72 x 75.77 x 8.02mm, while it weighs 206 (glass) / 223 grams (ceramic). The OnePlus Ace 5’s pricing in China starts at CNY2,299 ($315), while the most expensive model can be yours for CNY3,499 ($479).
The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro also launched, but that model is likely not coming to global markets
Do note that the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro also launched. It comes with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, a slightly smaller battery, and slightly faster charging. That phone also has slightly different dimensions, and it almost certainly won’t arrive to global markets.
