The OnePlus 13R has just made an appearance at some sort of a gaming event ahead of launch. Truth be said, this is the OnePlus Ace 5, technically. This gaming event was in China, and that will be the name of the OnePlus 13R in China. Samsung will change its branding overseas.
The OnePlus 13R appears at a gaming event ahead of launch
In any case, if you check out the images in the gallery below, you’ll see the device itself. Something similar happened with the OnePlus 13 prior to launch, it was present at a similar event.
Based on the lighting here, this phone has some sort of a light blue hue, with a bit of lilac in it. That could be due to the light, though. In any case, it has flat sides all around, and a circular camera island on the back.
That camera island sits in the top-left corner of the phone’s back and hosts three cameras and an LED flash. It does protrude on the back a bit, while OnePlus’ logo is centered on the backplate.
The OnePlus Ace 5 series promo poster also surfaced
In addition to these images, the OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro promo poster surfaced too, as you can see below. They show us the colors of both devices, along with some other details.
It seems like the color shown during that gaming event is indeed lilac, though the device could be the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro. The two phones will look the same, though. One of their colors will be different, it seems.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro will likely not launch globally. That device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and we’re not sure why is OnePlus launching it. It’s supposed to sit between the OnePlus 13R and OnePlus 13 in terms of features and price.
The OnePlus 13R is far more interesting to us, as it will launch globally, same as the OnePlus 13. Both smartphones will become official on January 7, the company has confirmed yesterday.
