The OPPO Find X8 Mini specs have just surfaced, and based on what we’re seeing here, the phone could end up being quite powerful. This information comes from Digital Chat Station, one of the most prominent tipsters from China.
Rumored OPPO Find X8 Mini specs do look quite promising
The tipster claims that the phone will be fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip, the same processor that fuels the OPPO Find X8 and Find X8 Pro. That is one of the most powerful chips out there at the moment, and it surely proved its worth.
On top of that, a 6.31-inch OLED display will be used by the company. That will ensure that the phone has a much smaller footprint than its siblings. We presume that the bezels will be quite thin.
The tipster also mentioned a triple camera setup on the back, with a 50-megapixel main camera which will use one of Sony’s IMX9 series camera sensors. Needless to say, those are great news.
The phone will also include a “high-quality” periscope telephoto camera
A 50-megapixel “high-quality” periscope telephoto camera will also be a part of the package. It would be great to see the same camera from the OPPO Find X8 Pro here, that’s for sure.
The tipster also mentioned that the phone will combine metal and glass for its build. It will also have an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. It won’t be an ultrasonic one, but based on the performance of optical fingerprint scanners OPPO used in the past, that won’t be a problem.
On top of all that, the OPPO Find X8 Mini will support wireless charging. We’re still not sure how fast will it be, but its siblings do support 50W charging. So… the same could be offered here.
The OPPO Find X8 Mini could launch alongside the OPPO Find X8 Ultra. So, it’s expected to arrive in Q1 2025. That phone will be a direct competitor to the Vivo X200 Pro mini, Xiaomi 15, Google Pixel 9 Pro, and other compact, yet high-end devices.
