Popular smart ring maker Oura has announced that its AI-powered health coach called Oura Advisor is now available to all subscribers of the Oura app. Earlier, the company’s personal health chatbot was only available to Oura Labs users, but now it is getting a permanent spot in the Oura smartphone application. The AI-backed health advisor uses the biometric data the Oura smart rings collect to provide daily and weekly guidance and answer health queries.
Oura’s AI-backed health advisor is now rolling out to Ring Gen3 and Ring 4 users
Oura has announced that it has received positive feedback for its AI health advisor during the extensive testing in Oura Labs. The AI-backed health coach is now rolling out to all Oura Ring Gen3 and Ring 4 users. Powered by artificial intelligence, Oura Advisor “transforms your Oura insights into actionable, personalized guidance”. The company said that with the Advisor, you can dive deep into your long-term health trends.
Thanks to the AI coach, you can also visualize your sleep, activity, readiness, and resilience data with graphs and charts. Using these insights, you can create plans to reach your unique health goals on a short or long-term basis.
Oura Advisor now offers an upgraded chat experience
The company has also upgraded the AI-powered health coach feature. Oura Advisor now uses an adaptive tone, responding to users’ tonality to ensure conversations in the chat feel natural rather than robotic. The company mentioned that Oura Advisor doesn’t just participate in chats, it also stimulates them. It can now suggest topics, guide interactions, and even “think” about the Oura ring users even when it’s not in use.
That said, Oura has been testing the Advisor feature in Oura Labs for quite some time. Previously, the company mentioned it when it launched the Oura Ring 4 wearable in October 2024. However, now the feature is ready for all users and will be rolling out to all Oura app users via Android and Apple’s app stores.
As of now, the feature is only rolling out to users using English as their app language. Support for more languages will be available later this year.
