DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – A mural commemorating transportation history is underway in Davenport’s Hilltop Campus Village.
The concept, developed by “American Pickers” star Rob Wolfe and Kevin Dahl of Dahl Ford of Davenport, highlights historic, local, and family-owned transportation businesses.
The grayscale mural, painted by local artist Atlanta Dawn, will span six city blocks across the railroad bridge on the north side of West 5th Street.
Priming began Friday, and work will continue next week.
The first phase of the mural will be completed before winter, and phase two will begin in Spring 2025.
