Peugeot has cut prices for key electric cars and rolled out its Allure Care coverage

Starting prices for the E-208 and E-2008 have been slashed by £3,000, with both models now available from £28,600 and £32,700 respectively.

The E-308 and E-308 SW have been reduced by £1,500, with these models now starting from £38,550 and £39,750.

Peugeot said the new pricing policy supported its commitment to becoming the electric leader in Europe by 2025.

The French carmaker has also rolled out its Allure Care programme, debuted on the E-3008 at the start of 2024.

The Allure Care warranty is now provided on the E-208, E-2008, E-308 and E-308 SW, while the upcoming E-5008 and E-408 will also benefit from it.

The warranty covers the electric motor, onboard charger, transmission and main electrical and mechanical components for up to eight years or 100,000 miles – bringing them in line with the specific warranty for the high-voltage battery.

The Allure Care warranty is activated automatically and free of charge for two years (or 16,000 miles) after each service in the Peugeot-approved aftersales network.

The standard warranty remains at three years and up to 60,000 miles on passenger vehicles.

Eurig Druce, managing director, Peugeot UK, said: “With Europe’s widest range of mainstream electric vehicles, we are committed to ensuring our customers have greater choice when making the switch to electric. The simultaneous introduction of the Peugeot Allure Care Warranty and new pricing structure reflects this commitment, and is designed to make the transition to battery electric vehicles as smooth as possible, and with total peace of mind so that more people can enjoy the benefits of driving electric.”
