Cameron Walker thinks Elon Musk has trashed the Tesla brand – but his decision to sell his Model 3 electric vehicle was made long before that, based on what he says are problems with the product and a lack of customer service and quality control.

His most serious concern is a phenomenon known as phantom braking, in which the car autonomously applies the brakes due to what it perceives as a potential collision with an illusory obstacle.
