Phoenix shooting leaves man dead inside car, 2nd victim hospitalized – Arizona's Family

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Police are looking for leads after a double shooting left one man dead and another man in the hospital on Thursday night.

It happened in the area of 40th Avenue and Camelback Road

While the shooting happened around 11:30 p.m., officers didn’t get a call about it until the next morning around 9:30 a.m.

That’s when they found 20-year-old Said Abdikadir shot to death inside a car.

Detectives said they later learned that a second victim was driven to the hospital on Thursday night by an unknown person.

That driver dropped the man off and took off.

Investigators said the second victim only gave them limited information.

Police said multiple people have been detained but no suspects have been arrested.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO for Spanish speakers. Callers can remain anonymous.
