GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCSC) – The Georgetown Police Department is investigating a crash that involved a pedestrian on Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to the intersection of Front Street and Wood Street at 8:14 a.m. in reference to a crash, Major Nelson Brown said.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he later died from injuries, according to Brown.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.

The Georgetown Police Department is investigating.
