Finally, the production Aptera solar-electric vehicle (sEV) was unveiled at CES 2025, and some attendees even got to ride in one. This sEV is claimed to achieve up to 400 miles of range from a single charge in under an hour.
Or, owners can enjoy 40 miles of free driving per day powered entirely by sunlight, which equates to around 10,000 miles per year of solar-powered driving in sunny climates, significantly reducing reliance on grid charging. Technical specifications have not yet been revealed, aside from its 42 kWh battery pack. Pricing for the production version is set between $26,000 to $46,000 USD.
