Our shopping editors keep a close eye on Apple deals across all categories, from headphones to accessories, which means we know which deals are worth it — and which to skip. And we know for a fact that Black Friday and Prime Day are truly the best times to score Apple on sale. This Black Friday, we expect previous generations of Apple tech to drop in price following Apple’s September 2024 releases.
All Of The Early Black Friday Deals, Right This Way
But we’ve already spotted some Good Housekeeping Institute-tested MacBooks and iPads drop to record-low prices, making it a good time to invest in a new laptop or tablet. The tenth generation iPad and the iPad Mini are both matching their lowest prices ever recorded. Meanwhile, we scouted out modest price cuts on some of the brand-new tech, including the AirPods 4 and the Apple Watch Series 10 — but we expect these new devices to drop lower once Black Friday rolls around.

Does Apple participate in Black Friday sales?
Not exactly. Apple runs a Black Friday gift-card-with purchase offer (up to $150 worth), but that gift card must be applied toward a future purchase, and everything is typically full price. There’s also usually a discount on AppleCare.
That said, it’s worth cashing in on the discounts at Amazon, Walmart and other retailers, since these deals are well below full price. While prices will generally get lower as the day gets closer, if you see a record-low price (like the iPad deals above), it’s smart to act before it sells out entirely.
