Public input meetings Wednesday for metropolitan transportation plan – INFORUM


MOORHEAD — The Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments is hosting public input meetings for the draft of its metropolitan transportation plan on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

The plan, called Metro 2050, is a five-year update to the plan that guides transportation investments through 2050 in the region, according to a press release from the City of Moorhead. Open house meetings to gather public input on the plan are scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday in the Oak Room at the Hjemkomst Center, 202 1st Ave. N., Moorhead.

The draft plan is also available for review and public input on the project’s website,

fmmetrocog.org/Metro2050.

The Metro COG Policy Board will act on the Metro 2050 plan at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26. The meeting will be at the Metro COG office at 1 Second St. N., Case Plaza Suite 232, Fargo. The public can also attend via Zoom, listed on the project website.
