The answers to today’s Quordle, game #968, are…

In stark contrast to yesterday’s Quordle, where I had 19 out of the 20 letters I needed by the end of the third guess, I had to work a lot harder here. My three set start words only gave me 15 – which may not sound like a massive difference, but which in reality left me scrabbling around for 10 minutes in search of those missing letters.

Playing M was ultimately the key, because that gave me the start of MEDIC and MIGHT, and the end of VENOM. The other gaps pretty much filled themselves.
