The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE isn’t too far off from us at this point. In fact, the next Fan Edition smartphone from the South Korean manufacturer is expected to come to the center stage tomorrow, where everything will be made official.
However, you know us smartphone people — we can be heavily impatient and we always grab onto what ever info we can get in advance. Today, it’s the pricing information for the upcoming device, as well as some of the launch offers that Samsung will have available alongside it.
Samsung Accidentally Published The Galaxy S24 FE Product Page Ahead Of Time
We’re used to getting smartphone leaks from reputable tipsters but when you get a leak from the mouth of the company itself, there’s no space for doubt. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is coming out tomorrow and it seems some poor intern over at Samsung HQ got too excited, slipped, and hit the publish button. The product page for the S24 FE was put up ahead of time, though it’s already been taken back down.
Of course, all that was really needed was a momentary glance, as some quick-fingered folks took a screenshot of the page (thanks, SammyGuru), revealing not just the pricing of the smartphone, but some of the deals that Samsung will be offering alongside it.
As earlier reported, the Galaxy S24 FE will indeed see a price increase. However, the good thing is that at the end of the day, that price increase isn’t as much as was initially predicted. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will start at $649 for the 128GB version and the 256GB version will cost $709. In both cases, this is a $20 price hike (remember that the S23 FE models each eventually sold at $30 more than their announced launch prices).

If you’re considering getting yourself the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE when it is unveiled tomorrow, you might want to take advantage of some of the available launch deals.
For one, we know that you’ll be able to get up to $400 off the phone if you trade in another device, which will bring the price down to a minimum of $249. Not bad. You can also get the Galaxy Buds FE at a 50% discount when bundled. If those earbuds aren’t quite your thing, you can opt for the Galaxy Buds 3 at just $135, or the Galaxy Watch FE at a mere $100.
Samsung will give you two months of Adobe Lightroom, three months of YouTube Premium, and six months of Microsoft 365 Basic. Those shouldn’t sway your decision, but they’re pretty nice perks to have thrown in.
Unfortunately, A $700 “Sub-Flagship” Is A Hard Sell When The Actual S24 Is Right There
Here’s the thing. Even though it is just a $20 price increase over what its predecessor sold for, I find it hard to personally try and convince anyone to buy an S24 FE — a phone that’s trying to be like the main S24, but not enough.
You get a castrated version of the Exynos chip that some regions get with the S24 lineup and no chance whatsoever of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 that North America gets. Plus, the telephoto and selfie cameras were downgraded.
The biggest problem is that you could probably get a brand new Samsung Galaxy S24 on Amazon or eBay for a similar price, so what’s the point? I don’t know. But if you’re thinking of buying one, let me know in the comments.
