Samsung debuts new Neo QLED 8K TVs and More at CES 2025

CES has typically been a big TV show for many companies. Though, in recent years we’ve seen fewer and fewer TVs. However, Samsung is still announcing their 2025 TV Lineup at CES, starting with its Neo QLED 8K TVs. This is the new QN990F and QN900F, which are said to be their “most impressive models yet”.

Samsung is bringing its Glare-Free technology that debuted last year as an industry-first for OLED TVs, over to its 8K lineup. This is going to allow customers to watch at the highest resolution, and in any room, whether it’s light or dark. On the QN990F model, Samsung is debuting a brand new technology, the Wireless One Connect Box. Samsung has had the One Connect Box for a bit, but it is not wireless. Samsung says that it can transmit wirelessly up to 10 meters away, even with obstacles in its path. So you can say goodbye to cables.

The new Neo QLED 8K TVs also include WiFi7 and Omni-Directional Technology, with the Wireless One Connect Box. So it doesn’t even need to face the TV to transmit content at 8K resolution and up to 120Hz.

Finally, the QN900F features a new Metal Frame design, which Samsung says will “beautifully compliment your space and adds an entirely new option to our 8K lineup.”

Samsung debuts 115-inch Neo QLED TV at CES 2025

Over the past year or so, we’ve seen quite a few 100-inch or larger TVs hit the market, at somewhat reasonable prices. And now Samsung is following that trend, with this year’s Neo QLED 4K TV lineup. This year’s lineup includes the QN900F, QN800F and QN700F, with the QN900F being available in up to 115-inches. This is Samsung’s largest ever consumer display, and thanks to its Supersize Picture Enhancer, it is able to optimize picture quality for the ultra-large screen.

Additionally, the QN800F will be available in up to 100-inches. Giving you another premium, but also cheaper, 100-inch or larger TV on the market. While the QN700F offers a pretty good entry point into the Neo QLED portfolio. All of these TVs will run on Tizen, and include AI features like Click to Search, Samsung Food, and Live Translate.

Samsung’s 2025 OLED TVs feature upgraded processors and Glare-Free Technology

After debuting the industry-first Glare-Free Technology for OLED last year, it is returning to its 2025 lineup this year. In addition to that, Samsung is also making their OLED TVs brighter than ever before. With the new S95F, S90F and S85F.

The S95F will feature a 165Hz variable refresh rate since so many OLED TV owners do game quite often. Samsung is bringing its lowest reflection rate ever on an OLED to the S95F, and finally, it’s the brightest OLED TV Samsung has ever made. Ensuring that it remains the world’s brightest OLED.

Finally, we have The Frame lineup. For 2025, Samsung is also adding in The Frame Pro which will make it even easier to upgrade your space and compliment your aesthetic, giving you a personal art gallery, immersive entertainment hub, and a premium gaming center. The Frame Pro will sport a Neo QLED display, providing you with boosted brightness and enhanced contrast, ensuring that your favorite art and shows always look their best. Finally, it also supports 144Hz refresh rate.

Samsung’s new audio lineup is breathtaking

Rounding out the home entertainment announcements for CES, are a few new soundbars. First up is the HW-Q990F which is the new flagship soundbar. It also includes a new subwoofer that is less than half the size of its predecessor, all while delivering even more powerful audio. This brings you 11.1.4 channel and Dolby Atmos in a soundbar, which is clearer, richer, and more effortless sound.

There’s also the HW-QS700F which can be placed on a table-top or tilted 90 degrees, for a cleaner, clearer look at your wall. And finally, Samsung is also expanding its Q-Symphony Pro compatible devices with two new B-Series soundbars, HW-B750F and HW-B650F.
