Samsung Galaxy A56 battery capacity has been revealed

The Samsung Galaxy A56 details are slowly, but surely coming, and the latest one is the phone’s battery capacity. The device was certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in China, which revealed its battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy A56 battery capacity has seemingly been revealed

This certification says that a 4,905mAh battery will be included in the phone. Do note that smartphone makers advertise the typical capacity, not the rated one. So, the typical capacity here will be 5,000mAh or 5,100mAh.

Unsurprisingly, the phone will also come with 5G support, two SIM card slots, and Android 15 out of the box. One UI 7 will come pre-installed on the device, of course.

We exclusively revealed the design of this phone not long ago. The device will feature a flat frame, while its front and back sides will also be flat. A centered display camera hole will be placed on the front.

Three vertically-aligned cameras will sit on the back of the phone, as part of the same camera island. Now, on the right-hand side, you’ll notice the so-called ‘Key Island’. The power/lock and volume up and down buttons will basically protrude towards the right side more than the frame itself.

Here are the expected specs

What about the rest of its specs? Well, the device is expected to include a fullHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. That will be a Dynamic AMOLED panel. 45W wired charging will be on offer too.

A 50-megapixel main camera is expected to be included on the back. The same goes for a 12-megapixel camera and a 5-megapixel unit. On the front, a 12-megapixel snapper is expected.

The phone is expected to launch in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants with 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. We’re still not sure when will the phone launch, but its predecessor arrived in March 2024. So, it’s possible that the Galaxy A56 is coming in March 2025.
