With Samsung Unpacked drawing nearer, more and more leaks are popping up for all three models: The Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. So far, each reveal has focused on aesthetics, with last week showing us that each one will have four different color options.
What we really want to know is the internal components, and the latest leak has exposed that to the public. Here are all the confirmed features of the Galaxy S25 phones.
Galaxy S25 is not all that different from the S24
Long ago, Samsung used to take big risks with their smartphones. The original Galaxy Note in 2011 was one of the first phones to have a large screen around 5.3 inches. Many people thought it was too big at the time. But it became popular, and now big screens are standard.
The Galaxy S6 Edge from 2015 brought a unique curved display that other phones didn’t have. Then, they pushed on to foldable phone technology with the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip in recent years.
These days, the company has been playing it safe with the S series, and it seems like the Galaxy S25 is bound to follow a predictable pattern. Popular leaker Arsène Lupin shared the specs for the phone series last week, and unsurprisingly, all three models will come with largely the same features as the previous model.
They’ll have 120Hz displays with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits and a base RAM memory configuration of 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB and 12GB+1TB. Although there’s no mention of a 16GB variant, the higher-end Ultra model could come with it in certain markets.
Battery capacities also remain the same: 4,000mAh for the S25, 4,900mAh for the S25 Plus, and 5,000mAh for the Ultra. The S25 will charge at 25W, while the Plus and Ultra will support 45W charging. Screen sizes are 6.2-inches, 6.7-inches, and 6.9-inches respectively.

S25 Ultra is the phone to anticipate the most
Cameras for the S25 and S25 Plus mirror each other, but the S25 Ultra has the best configuration with a 200MP primary camera, ultra-wide angle lens, 50MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP front camera.
Samsung has also made it a stronger phone with a titanium frame. The other models will have an aluminum frame. All three phones will use Corning’s Gorilla Glass Armor protection and have an IP68 rating.
Perhaps the only big difference is the upgraded Snapdragon 8 Elite chip from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on the S24 series and the 1TB storage option on the Ultra. However, RAM configurations could vary in different markets. We’ll find out for sure at the Galaxy Unpacked event.
Speaking of, the event should happen on January 22 in San Jose, California. It starts at 10 AM Pacific Time (PT), 1 PM Eastern Time (ET), or 6 PM Greenwich Meridian Time (GMT). You can stream it live on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube channel. Be prepared to see the Galaxy S25 series launch with Android 15, One UI 7, and Galaxy AI.
