The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is allegedly coming next year, and its camera details have just been revealed, it seems. This is just a rumor at this point, though, as it comes from Sanju Choudhary, a tipster.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is coming, and its camera details just surfaced
He listed three cameras in his X post. The Galaxy S25 Slim, based on what he said, will include a 200-megapixel main camera (ISOCELL HP5, 1/1.56-inch sensor). In addition to that, it will also feature two ISOCELL JN5 cameras on the back.
The ISOCELL JN5 is a 50-megapixel camera sensor, by the way. It’s a 1/2.76-inch camera sensor, and it will seemingly be used for both ultrawide and telephoto cameras. The telephoto camera on the phone will offer a 3.5x optical zoom.
The tipster also noted that Samsung may utilize the new ALoP camera tech inside of this smartphone. That may be necessary to keep the phone as thin as it’s expected to be. If that ends up being the case, we may get a periscope telephoto camera here.
This phone won’t launch alongside other Galaxy S25 smartphones
If you’re wondering when will this phone arrive, well, it doesn’t seem to be coming alongside other Galaxy S25 phones, which is in line with what Max Jambor said. The tipster claims this device will arrive in the second quarter of next year. So at some point between April and June.
The Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra are expected to arrive in early 2025. A January launch is expected, actually, we just don’t know the exact date just yet.
The Galaxy S25 Slim’s model number surfaced not long ago, while a rumor said that it will have an ‘Ultra’ camera. That rumor did not really go into details regarding the camera setup, unlike today’s tip.
That is basically everything we know about this device. Based on its name, it will be thinner than its siblings, but we’ll see.
