The Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra were announced at Samsung’s twice-yearly Unpacked event in San Jose on January 22, 2025. Pre-orders opened that same day, with the official launch date on February 7, 2025. However, many who pre-ordered were able to get their devices ahead of February 7.
Samsung priced the Galaxy S25 Ultra at $1,299, the same as the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Which does make it the most expensive slab phone in the US right now. Even more so than the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The Galaxy S25 Ultra does sport quite a few different offers to get the device for even less. There’s almost always a trade-in promo going on, and sometimes a double storage promo as well.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is available virtually everywhere. Including Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and of course, Samsung.com.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is available in 7 different colors. There are four that are available everywhere, these include Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium SilverBlue, and Titanium WhiteSilver. Over at Samsung.com, you can pick up the Galaxy S25 Ultra in three exclusive colors. These include Titanium JadeGreen, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Pinkgold.

It’s a really good phone, despite being nearly identical to the Galaxy S24 Ultra released last year. One of the downsides to the Galaxy S25 Ultra this year, however, is with the S Pen. Samsung decided to ditch the Bluetooth features here, saying that less than 1% of users were using Air Actions. If you’re part of that 1%, then you might want to stick with the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
