Sometimes, you can’t buy phones straight from the factory due to the price. This is why you should be introduced to the beautiful world of refurbished devices. Well, if you’re looking at getting your hands on a new (not new) Galaxy phone, Samsung is selling Galaxy Certified Used Phones.
These are slightly used phones that you can buy for a lower price. If this sounds familiar, then you know that Samsung also sells phones as “Re-newed“. It started doing that years ago, and it’s still doing it to this day. While it’d be nice to buy every phone right from the manufacturer, times are tough nowadays. So, we’ll need to make sacrifices. In any case, if you’re getting a refurbished device straight from Samsung, you know that you’re getting a near-new experience.
Samsung is selling Galaxy Certified Used Phones
Right now, we don’t know how far this program will reach, but Samsung started selling these phones in South Korea Today. Also, the company is only selling Galaxy S24 phones, but it will make more devices available in the future. Picking up a Galaxy S24 in 2025 is a great investment, as it’s still a wildly powerful and well-made device. Also, since it’s getting One UI 7 soon, it won’t be too far behind the Galaxy S25.
Not only that, but you’ll be saving some serious money if you get a Galaxy Certified Used phone. Users will save between KRW 260,000 and KRW 640,000 (between $175 and $434) if they buy a refurbished phone.
Going down the prices, a Galaxy S24 will cost KRW 889,900 ($604) for 256GB and KRW 949,300 ($645) for 512GB. A Galaxy S24+ will cost KRW 1,041,700 (~$708) for 256GB and KRW 1,101,100 (~$747).
Lastly, A Galaxy S24 Ultra will cost KRW 1,307,900 (~$888) for 256GB, KRW 1,367,300 (~$928) for 512GB, and KRW 1,486,100 (~$1,008) for 1TB.
All of these devices are in peak condition, having been returned within seven days and showing no sign of wear or tear. You also have a chance of getting a phone that was unboxed but never used. So, even though you’re getting a used phone, it will basically be like getting a new device.
