Samsung lists two bigger Galaxy Ring sizes on its support page

Samsung’s official support page recently revealed two new sizes of its popular health-tracking device, the Galaxy Ring. The upcoming Galaxy Ring sizes will include Size 14 and Size 15. The new sizes will join the existing lineup, which only had sizes 5 to 13. Samsung hasn’t announced the availability yet, but rumors suggest it will be launched in January 2025 during the Galaxy Unpacked event.

Two Galaxy Rings models, SM-Q514 and SM-Q515, listed on official support pages

According to a report from MySmartPrice, Samsung has listed two new bigger Galaxy Ring sizes with model numbers SM-Q514 and SM-Q515 on its official support pages in the UK, Switzerland, Canada, UAE, New Zealand, Australia, France, Czech Republic, and Ireland.

These model numbers are for Size 14 and Size 15 rings. So people with bigger fingers who couldn’t wear the original Galaxy Ring can now wear it and enjoy its health tracking features. The pages didn’t have product images, but the model numbers confirm these are new sizes for the Galaxy Ring.

A few days ago, the Samsung User Guide also listed the two new Galaxy Ring model numbers in addition to the nine already available sizes. These model numbers were also spotted on the Nemko platform and TDRA certification, which confirmed that the marketing name is “Galaxy Ring.” This suggests that these model numbers might not be related to the second-generation Galaxy Ring.

Will the new Galaxy Ring sizes have more features?

While we don’t know if the new larger sizes will have more features, some reports suggest they might have better battery life. The current Galaxy Ring in size 13 already has good battery life, but the new larger sizes might have a bigger battery to last even longer. The new sizes might retain the same health-tracking features like activity and sleep monitoring as the existing models.

Earlier leaks have suggested that Size 14 of the Galaxy Ring will weigh 3.2 g with a 23 mm inner diameter, while Size 15 will also weigh 3.2 g but feature a slightly larger 23.8 mm inner diameter.

Apart from the new sizes, Samsung will reportedly tease the Galaxy Ring 2 during the Galaxy Unpacked event in January 2025. But the launch window of the Galaxy Ring 2 remains unclear. Fans are waiting for the official announcement and hoping that the second-generation Galaxy Ring will bring more features.
