When it comes to premium tablets, the first brand that people think of is the Apple iPad. However, the second brand (and the first in the Android space) is definitely Samsung’s Tab S lineup. These tick every single box for the productivity-hungry people who need such tablets in the first place.
The only problem many people might have with the Tab S10 devices is that they’re very expensive, just like other devices in the segment. Fortunately, Samsung offers a little compromise for those who want the premium experience but want to save a few hundred dollars. Enter the Tab S10 FE series, which was officially announced today.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE Duo Hits the Mark Pretty Nice
Tablets do a whole lot that phones simply can’t. With a much larger screen, watching content is so much more enjoyable, playing games is more immersive, and your productivity is amped up. If you want the best in Android tablets, or almost the best, then the Galaxy Tab S10 FE will tick your boxes.
The Designs
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE duo has a design that’s pretty much identical to what the mainline Tab S10 tablets have. It is a rounded rectangular shape with identically-sized bezels all around. Neither device has a notch like the Tab S10 Ultra.
The back side is flat, with antenna bands at the left and right sides and a single rear camera in the upper right corner. It’s a simple look, but it works. Both devices will be available in black, grey, and blue. There’s no reason to take your tablet for a dip, but if you do, IP68 certification has your back.
The Screens

As the names give away, the Tab S10 FE+ model gets the bigger screen. It has a 13.1-inch display, which is noticeably bigger than its predecessor’s 12.4-inch display. The Tab S10 FE only has a 10.9-inch screen, which is the same as last time. Both displays are 90Hz LCD units that can get as bright as 800 nits in high-brightness mode.
The Internal Hardware
Powering both systems is the Exynos 1580, showing Samsung’s continuous commitment to its in-house brand of chips. It’s the same SoC in the Galaxy A56, so it can’t be too bad a choice.

The devices will come in two storage variants: 8/128GB and 12/256GB, with the option to expand storage via a microSD card. You will also get Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 support.
And of course, being a productivity device, it would have been a big miss from Samsung if the device didn’t support a stylus. It does, and the best part is that the S Pen comes in the box; you don’t have to buy it separately.
The Batteries and Charging
Tablets have massive screens, and as a result, they need better battery life than you can get with the average smart device. That’s why the Tab S10 FE opts for an 8,000mAh battery while the Tab S10 FE+ just surpasses the threshold with a 10,030mAh battery. Both support 45W fast charging, which is the fastest Samsung offers on any of its Android devices, so that’s a good thing.
The Cameras

The cameras here aren’t anything groundbreaking. Both tablets opt for a 13MP camera on the rear and a 12MP ultrawide camera (perfect for video calls and selfies) on the front.
The Software
You get Android 15 and One UI 7, and of course, a whole bunch of AI magic to further enhance this productivity machine. For instance, there’s Circle to Search, Object Eraser, Best Face for those group photos, Auto Trim to automatically make video reels, and Samsung Notes can even help you solve math. There’s a lot more too.
The Pricing and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE series will be available starting today. The Tab S10 FE will start at £499 in the UK, and the Tab S10 FE+ will be a little more expensive, starting at £649. At the moment, US buyers can only reserve the device.
Both will be available in 5G and Wi-Fi models. Plus, if you buy either of these tablets from Samsung’s website or eligible retailers, you can get the AI Book Cover Keyboard Slim for free.
