SAN ANTONIO – In honor of Veterans Day, Progressive changed the lives of one hundred military families across the U.S. with keys to new cars. This included veterans right here in San Antonio.
As part of Progressive’s 12th annual “Keys to Progress,” three lucky veterans here got some literal keys: car keys. The giveaway provided veterans with reliable transportation, helping them get back on the road and move forward in life.
Felisha Thon said the light had been brought back into her life after nine months of not having a car. She said she had to walk or Uber everywhere. Felisha said this new freedom had greatly helped her and her family.
With the help of rental car company Enterprise, Progressive donated more than one thousand cars to veterans since 2013.
