GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – Earlier this evening six lucky people walked away with the keys to a brand-new car.
Red Rock Auto Group donated six brand new 2025 Nissan Leaf vehicles to the District 51 Foundation as part of the district’s White Iced Award recipients. Last month the D-51 Foundation held their 13th annual White Iced Celebration where they surprised six honorees with car keys. The recipients were honored to receive the award and that the community supports them. Crystal Green, Career Coordinator for Palisade Highschool, said, “I’m just feeling very thankful that our district believes in us and takes care of us. And that the community is giving recognition to teachers that really deserve it.”
