After making her Bollywood debut in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies in 2023, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan is back on the screen. However, this time it’s a television commercial for a smartphone. The advertisement features Suhana delivering a brief dialogue followed by a dance sequence that highlights her smooth moves. Despite her confident performance, her latest project has drawn criticism from social media users who are questioning her screen presence.
As soon as the commercial surfaced on social media, it sparked a flurry of comments from netizens. A social media user shared the commercial on Reddit and wrote, “Suhana in the new Vivo Ad is absolutely horrible.”
Reacting to the post, a user said, “Man, she has a negative screen presence. She’s in the front, yet your attention goes to the side characters.”
Voicing similar views, another added, “She already has no screen presence. On top of that, they decided to give her the most basic outfit with boring makeup.”
A person said, “These new nepo girlies have NEGATIVE screen presence, it’s not even funny! I couldn’t watch more than 10 seconds of this drivel!”
A user claimed, “She just has no charisma, no screen presence. She could fade in the background and nobody would notice. Very bland and blah.”
“It looks more like a dance skit than a phone ad,” another added.
On the other hand, some users also supported Suhana Khan and praised her in the latest advertisement.
“Katrina Kaif was right when she said Suhana Khan is a talented dancer,” one user commented.
Another said, “My little Suee owning it and howw. @iamsrk I can imagine proud daddy staring this with emotional, proud eyes while I do the same.”
“Suhana Khan slayed and it’s just a phone ad,” a user said.
On the work front, Suhana Khan’s last project was The Archies where she portrayed Veronica Lodge. The Zoya Akhtar directorial premiered in December last year on OTT giant Netflix. She will soon share the screen with her father and actor Shah Rukh Khan in the upcoming thriller King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. As per reports, Abhishek Bachchan will play the antagonist in the film and it is slated to release in 2026.
